This plugin is strictly a server-side plugin, it should not affect agents in any way. Which version of TeamCity are you using?

Since installing the plugin I'm no longer able to build on any agent as they are all incompatible based on this reason.

I had no problems previously for over 120 build configurations and currently have Visual Studio 2008 installed on each agent machine.

Is there any documentation that might list the requirements?

Hi

I have integrated TFS2012 with TeamCity 7.1.3 using TFS-TeamCity-Issue-Tracker successfully

it works fine except for work items with title written in language other then English is displayed incorrectly.

I tried to change the browser encoding but it didn't help.

What could be the problem?

Does TeamCity stores the information in it's database?

Comments: Hello, TC communicates with the plugin by executing the TfsWrapper process. A first attempt at figuring out where the problem is would be to figure out if the text written to the output stream has issues already when invoking the TfsWrapper itself. Can you try this out perhaps?

It seems your plugin will need to get some attention if you want it to be supported on TFS11, because of this piece of code that targets an url that no longer exists:

public String getUrl(@NotNull String host, @NotNull String id) {
return appendTrailingSlash(host) + "tfs/web/wi.aspx?id=" + id;
}

Might be a better option to consume the TFS API instead.

I've just installed the plugin and tested the connection, so far everything was ok. when clicking on "Issue Log" tab I get error message (see attached)
Is it TC or "issue tracker" issue?

Comments: Hello, I contacted JetBrains and they were as usual very supportive and found a bug in the plugin code which they fixed and will release soon with a new bugfix version of TC (7.1.1).

Comments: I see. I will have to have a more thorough look apparently. I'm not a Java guy but the impression is that the API might have changed a bit as in the stacktrace you attached it is complaining about some undeclared throwable exception. Unfortunately it'll require some setup to try it out here as I've developed this when I was working with both TC and TFS and now I'm not working with them any longer. If you want to have a look at the source yourself you may be able to spot the issue easily though.

Comments: unfortunately it didnt. I've deleted the old one, dropped the zip file into the plugin folder and started the TC. TC reports "Tfs Issue Tracker Integration with Microsoft Tfs issue tracker 7.1.x-1 " but i still get the same stack trace. did i take all necessary steps to deploy new version?

Comments: I just added the build to the build server, you will find the results there as soon as it's finished running. I haven't tested it, but I assume it should work as long as JetBrains didn't change the API.

Comments: oh, I see... I guess I've downloaded the "Tfs issue tracker plugin (against TeamCity 7.0.x) " didnt pay attention it is for 7._0_.x any plans to release tracker for 7.1?

The code is exactly the same but it is compiled against TC 7.0.x.

Yes, I saw the link. My question was basically "Can I deploy the latest build of the plug-in for TeamCity which is marked for v7.0.x or is it just a pre-release beta?"

No specific version is mentioned here on codeplex, by design versions >= 6.x are supported. If you follow the download link on the homepage you'll see that there's a build for TC 7.0.x.

I noticed today there is a new build for TeamCity v7.0.x, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere here on codeplex. Is this s stable-ish version? Does it have or any new features?
